Day 40 - 41 - Bryce Canyon National Park

What can one say about Bryce Canyon? Its probably the most scenic park in the country. The landscape seems to have a hypnotic effect on you. The pictures below tell the story. We spent 2 days here seeing every thing we could about this place. The park provides a shuttle service that escorts you to all the remote places in the park, complete with narration about the geology and plant and animal life in the area. This is one of the most visited parks in the US. The pictures below tell the story - a picture is worth 1000 words. This is the final stop on our tour across the northwest. We left Bryce on Saturday morning - Oct. 1st and drove two days to get home. This trip has been incredible. We traveled a total of 7,300 miles in 42 days and had only 2 mornings of rainy weather the whole trip. We met many travelers along the way and especially enjoyed our 2 weeks with the Rotary RV Fellowship group. We also had a great adventure on our own - one we will remember for a long time to come. Adios!

Day 38 - 39 - Lake Tahoe & Great Basin National Park

Lake Tahoe from a distance
Today we drove to Lake Tahoe. It was amazing. The water is so clear you can see to the bottom. We only spent an hour or so here before moving on to our next destination for the day. Along the way we stopped at Great Basin National Park in Nevada.
